Prefab Houses evolved from being originally used as site offices for remote locations to a variety of functions. What was, in the past, humbly called “portacabin” became today mainstream, and almost any function can be fulfilled by prefabricated houses or prefabricated compounds: Site offices, sales offices, guard houses, snack bars, week end homes, staff accommodations, schools, hospitals, universities, libraries, bank branches, company headquarters… Basically whatever your need may be, doing it in “prefabriqué” became an option.
